The San Francisco Tap Dance Center is proud to announce:

NATIONAL TAP DANCE DAY 2000

Thursday May 25th

San Francisco's Tap Dance Guru Rosie Radiator will lead the Guiness World Champion San Francisco Rad Tap Team through Fisherman's Wharf in the National Tap Day "Tour de Tap"

"Tour de Tap"

Starts 12:00 noon at the foot of Columbus Street.

With bright blue hard hats, swirling red skirts, white tux tailcoats, and solid red sequined tap shoes the team will tap dance along the waterfront through Ripley's Believe it or Not Museum, through Ghiradelli Square, through the National Maritime Museum and end on the courtyard stage of the historic Cannery.

ROSIE'S TAP JAM AT THE CANNERY

At 2pm Rosie and the Rad Tap Team will tap dance down the stairs into the beautiful Cannery Courtyard with !Powertap! street routines to kick off the afternoon's tap dance activities.

Rosie and the team will dance their original Tribute to Mr. Bill "Bojangles" Robinson.

Rosie has invited her tap dance friends to jam, boogie and perform on THE CANNERY stage. She will feature the best upcoming and professional tap dancers from through out Northern California.

Everyone is invited to bring his or her tap shoes for the tap jam. The tapping and jamming will start at 2pm and continues with short breaks until 4pm on THE CANNERY courtyard stage.
